Bylaws ---Article I --- Name & Purpose The name of this club shall be TEDDYWIDDER RABBIT CLUB. The purpose of this club is to: 1. Promote and preserve the Teddywidder rabbit. 2. Provide education and resources for members. 3. Support ethical breeding practices and transparency. 4. Encourage youth involvement and mentorship. 5. Host shows, events, and activities for community engagement. --- Article II – Membership Eligibility: Open to all individuals who support the purpose of the club. Types of Membership: Regular Members (annual donations of $30). Junior Members (under 18, $10). Dues: Amount set annually by the Board. Rights: District directors in good standing may vote, hold office, and participate in events. --- Article III – Code of Conduct Members must treat others with respect and professionalism. Members must not knowingly sell unhealthy or misrepresented rabbits. Members are expected to follow ethical breeding standards and avoid practices harmful to the breed. Harassment, bullying, or defamation within or outside of the club will not be tolerated. --- Article IV – Officers Officers shall consist of: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Duties: President: Oversees meetings, represents the club. Vice President: Assists President, steps in if absent. Secretary: Keeps records, meeting minutes, correspondence. Treasurer: Manages finances, dues, and budgets. --- Article V – Elections: Elections will be held every [year/two years for districts members 1-10. Nominations must come from district directors in good standing. Voting will be held online in BOD chat or in person, supervised by the Secretary. --- Article VI – Meetings Regular meetings will be held in BOD chat via messenger. The Board may call special meetings as needed. Quorum: At least President and Vice President of Board must be present to conduct official business. --- Article VII – Discipline & Removal A member who violates the code of conduct or damages the club’s reputation may face suspension or removal. Complaints must be submitted to the President or Vice president. The Board will review and vote, with opportunity for the member to respond. --- Article VIII – Amendments Bylaws may be amended by the President or Vice President. Board members my vote in good standing. Proposed amendments must be submitted to the Vice President and Secretary in writing at least 30 days before voting.
